Invited to join the safari, your child and his or her fellow explorers will be sure of only one thing — that they’re in for a wild time! Surrounded by vines and tropical vegetation, supervised by some of our favorite furry friends and serenaded by the sounds of the jungle, your young adventurers will find themselves deliciously off-balance.

Having warded off evil spirits with our special face-painting ritual, the explorers will be ready to test their ability to survive in the jungle. Dr. Livingstone, I Presume?, Scampering Chimps, Snakes in the Grass and Photo Safari are just a few of the custom-designed games prepared for this safari outing.

Of course, they’ll need sustenance after their lengthy trek through the wilds, so we’ll serve up slices of the four-foot-long Slithering Snake cake. Against a vivid green cloth with tiger-stripe topper, our jungle-print plates — along with cups, napkins and forks in complementary solids — pack a real punch! Tropical fruit and flowers, baskets, jungle-print balloons and realistic vinyl snakes complete the tablescape.

Send each explorer back to civilization with a mosquito-net kit bag containing such theme-related favors as a vinyl snake, rubber animal nose, compass, zoo animal bookmark and animal-print pencil.
